Unlike banks that are open to anyone, credit unions have a “field of membership”, which means you have to be a member in order to access other products and services. The minimum membership deposit is $5, and this must remain on deposit as long as you are a member.

 

Can I add more money to my share/savings account?

Yes. The $5 is just the minimum to get started. The CSCU savings account is a place to build an emergency fund, vacation fund, or simply a source of funds for anything you can dream of.

 

How do I qualify for membership?
